Head of Tech & Data Marketing

Our client is a well-established international organization operating within the financial services and infrastructure environment. As part of an ongoing transformation journey, the company is investing significantly in data-driven customer engagement, marketing technology and AI-enabled capabilities to further strengthen its international market positioning.

For this strategically important and newly created leadership role, we are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking personality as

 

Head of Tech & Data Marketing 

The function will help connect fragmented platforms, drive the next stage of CRM maturity across the company, strengthen customer activation capabilities, improve the use of customer and campaign data, enable AI and automation, and create the foundation for scalable client activation and transparent marketing impact.

Reporting directly to the Executive Management Board, this newly created leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the function from the ground up in a true build-and-transform environment: defining the strategy, operating model, technology landscape and future team setup.

Working closely with Marketing, Digital/CX, IT, Legal and other senior stakeholders, the role will play a central part in building a scalable, data-driven and AI-enabled marketing ecosystem within a highly regulated international environment.

 

What you will do

  • Define and drive the Tech & Data strategy and operating model within Marketing & Communications
  • Lead and further develop the MarTech, CRM and customer data ecosystem with a focus on scalability, integration and measurable business impact
  • Build and lead a lean, high-impact team across MarTech, analytics, AI enablement and governance
  • Translate business priorities into scalable, data-driven customer activation and engagement capabilities together with Marketing, Digital/CX, IT and other senior stakeholders
  • Drive AI and automation initiatives to improve personalization, marketing effectiveness and operational efficiency
  • Ensure strong governance, compliance and data integrity standards within a highly regulated environment
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on technology and data-driven marketing topics

What you bring 

  • Proven experience in building and scaling technology and data-driven capabilities within complex organizations
  • Strong expertise in MarTech, CRM, customer data, marketing automation and analytics
  • Experience in transformation environments and operating model development
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to bridge business, technology and governance requirements
  • Strategic, hands-on and execution-oriented leadership style
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing teams
  • Business fluent English language skills are essential; German language skills are considered an advantage
