Digital Media Manager (m/f, 60 – 100%)

(Workload can be selected between 60% – 100%; possibly as an interim or freelance position; various forms of work are conceivable)

This position focusses on the collaboration and management of their media agencies in digital campaign processes. It includes the development of the online media strategy, planning, buying, tracking and its analysis to optimize campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility over the media process chain in collaboration with the media agency
  • Development of the online strategy, planning, buying, tracking and its analysis
  • Optimizations, briefings and controlling of online campaigns
  • Presentations of the media plans and their campaign results
  • Price-Negotiation with agencies as well as publishers; steering the online purchase strategy
  • Maintenance of Ad Managements and Ad Technologies
  • Implementation of paid media activities in collaboration with the community manager
  • Screening market trends, testing and implementation of the results

Your profile

  • Several years of experience as a digital campaign manager or online media planner on agency or customer side
  • Experience in price negotiations
  • Ideally having knowledge in the field of media planning for classic media (e.g. TV)
  • Experience in social media management is an advantage
  • Usage of web analytic tools
  • Good understanding of technologically themes and programmatic purchasing / DSPs / DMP
  • Good understanding of business needs and willing to think out of the box
  • Analytical competence
  • High level of social competence
  • Strong service orientation
