Chief Executive Officer (m/f, 100%)

Its ambition: to radically transform the business, and to adapt it to the challenges of tomorrow. With a new fund raising and an experienced team ensuring the means of its ambitions, the new CEO will have to contribute to the business development. This role is for someone who is interested in building a legacy.

Main areas/missions

  • Define and manage the short- and long-term strategy of the company
  • Define the objectives in accordance with the core strategy direction
  • Identify opportunities for growth and scale, and to emphasize areas that have the greatest mission aligned impact
  • Carry out sales activities and scale the existing business in a fast-evolving market
  • Develop a fundraising strategy and roll-out from evaluation of suitable financial investors, application, presentation & pitch, term sheets and successful closing
  • Manage the product development of ongoing projects (roadmap management, priority setting)
  • Serve as a key advisor and build strong relationships with new partners for scaling the business
  • Engage with investors and advocate for greater investments in scaling access to healthcare
  • Drive new business in test markets
  • Coordinate and manage teams to ensure objectives are met
  • Guarantee and supervise the smooth running of operations
  • Set up and implement best in class processes for:
    • Lean management approaches to grow the business and adapt the products to changing market needs
    • Communication to targeted groups
  • Collaborate, manage, and align with different stakeholders such as key customers, share-holder, suppliers, distributors, and employees on timely manners
  • Ensure the relationship with the company’s investors and partners

Your profile:

We are looking for an assertive, high performing, trustworthy professional with a successful proven track record managing major improvement initiatives by scaling businesses in the digital industry.

  • You have at least 8 years professional work experience in the strategic sales of software solutions and/or scaling up businesses in the digital health industry
  • You have previous CEO role experience
  • You hold a Master’s Degree in business administration, economics, digital business, computer science or similar technical or business disciplines
  • You enjoy to negotiate, sell, convince, and inspire (clients, internal teams, partners, suppliers, investors etc.)
  • You have a solid delivery record and leadership experience in scaling businesses and driving growth
  • You have fundraising experience
  • You have a solid track record in building and growing new businesses, preferably from a younger organization
  • You are familiar with stakeholder management across different countries and cultures
  • You have a strong business acumen combined to high quality and efficiency standard objectives
  • You are an impactful storyteller and communicator across various mediums
  • You like to work within an ambitious and (international) organization
  • You are a curious and thrive in a fast-paced environment and owns the unique add-on of an entrepreneurial mindset
  • You possess cultural awareness and sensitivity as well as strong communication and presentation skills
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English with additional languages being a plus
  • You are a forward thinker who is comfortable with technological innovations and embraces challenges
